CASWELL BAY MITTS
CASWELL BAY MITTS
Fiona Alice published her first knitting book, Take Heart: A Transatlantic Knitting Journey, with Pom Pom Press in 2015. Those patterns are now slowly becoming available as individual downloads for the first time.
“With a modern cable pattern knit in a glamorous merino and silk blend, this hat and mitten set was the perfect opportunity to play on the geometric theme while also exploring a different technique. The distinguishing feature of the hat is its pattern of repeating raised geometric shapes against the reverse stocking stitch background, while the other side yields a completely different pattern. I love the look of the twisted ribbing and the way that it allows the hat and fingerless mitts to stretch and conform to the wearer’s body.” - excerpt from Take Heart: A Transatlantic Knitting Journey
The matching hat can be found here.
