FORT GREY

€4.50

Fort Grey is a pair of toe-up socks designed with two types of stitch patterns, inspired by the designer’s trip to Guernsey Island. The resulting fabric is stretchy and interesting to knit throughout. Solid colors are recommended for this project to show of the patterns. Fort Grey was originally published in amirisu Issue 12 / Winter 2017.

NOTES
This pattern is written as if the knitter is using the Magic Loop Method. The top of the foot is worked across the first needle and the sole of the foot is worked across the second needle. DPNs can be used instead. Work instructions for first needle across 1st and 2nd DPNs, for second needle work across 3rd and 4th DPNs. The cables consist of two stitches and can be easily switched around without a cable needle but this would be up to the knitter.

Fort Grey is also available in Japanese.
