PINEHURST
PINEHURST
Inspiration for this cardigan originally came from seeing marled swatches of combining two different colours of Garland together. I already loved my experience of working with one strand of Garland but now I wanted those same marled textures with two strands held together. The thicker fabric is a warm barrier and almost more coat-like for cooler spring mornings and evenings. However, this cardigan will then transition nicely into the crisp temperatures of the autumn months. Knitters can really play with colour combinations to give them a painterly quality to this cardigan or keep it straightforward and classic by using only one colour.
Pinehurst was originally published in Laine Magazine’s Issue 28, Open Water.
