FOG HARBOUR
FOG HARBOUR
Fog Harbour cowl is a beautiful example of line, color, and unconventional technique. Knitted in two colors of merino/mohair Ibis, the vertical stripes are worked in intarsia using individual strands of yarn in one color, against a background of garter stitch in the other. Fog Harbour originally published as part of Quince & Co’s mini collection, SCARVES, ETC 6, in January 2017.

NOTES
Cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. Each contrasting stripe is worked in intarsia, with its own strand of yarn to avoid long floats in the upper part of the stripe motif. For simplicity, all strands are cut to the same length, ample for working the longest of colowork columns. When joining a CC strand, leave a tail approx 6" [15 cm] long for finishing.
