CHESTER BASIN HAT
CHESTER BASIN HAT
Fiona Alice published her first knitting book, Take Heart: A Transatlantic Knitting Journey, with Pom Pom Press in 2015. Those patterns are now slowly becoming available as individual downloads for the first time.
“This set was named after Chester Basin, a quaint seaside town on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, where I recently celebrated the wedding of my older sister, Mila. The undulating texture and flecks of colour evoke memories of watching whitecaps on the surface of the basin. Bundled up in these enchanting pieces, I hope knitters (and those they knit for) will be able to brave any windy coastline.” - excerpt from Take Heart: A Transatlantic Knitting Journey
